Featured Facility & SSOTY Finalist: Chicago Bulls Training Facility

Robbins is proud to announce the Featured Facility of the Month for July and Sports Surface of the Year Finalist goes to the Chicago Bulls Training Facility installed by Floors, Inc. The 60,000 sq. ft. facility features 20,000 sq. ft. of Robbins MVP with 1st grade XL Plus maple flooring, as well as Sportwood on the weight lifting stations.  The new state of the art training facility, named The Advocate Center, was completed in the fall of 2014 and is located within walking distance of the United Center.

The new facility houses two full-size MVP basketball courts, which is the most advanced floor system on the market.  The MVP is designed to specifically eliminate fatigue that can result in player injury. In addition to dozens of other schools and facilities, the Chicago Bulls is the 5th NBA team to install this revolutionary floor in their practice facility.

Not only was Floors, Inc. chosen as a finalist for the size of the project and their dedication to selling & installing the best floor suited for the team, they were also chosen for customer satisfaction. In a letter of recommendation received from Karen S. Umlauf,  Senior Director, Basketball Administration for the Bulls, she writes about the excellent experience with the team at Floors, Inc. and the floor stating that “I am writing to you in regards to the high quality your workers and company  performed installing the wood athletic flooring in the basketball courts of our new Chicago Bulls Training Facility.
